You are entitled to receive one free credit file disclosure (credit report) every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies — Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. It is your choice whether you order all three credit file disclosures at the same time or order one now and others later. The advantage of ordering all three at the same time is that you can compare them to one another. On the other hand, the advantage of ordering one now and others later (for example, one credit file disclosure every four months) is that you can keep track of any changes or new information that may appear on your credit file disclosure.
You can purchase your credit score by contacting one of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies.
If you have a problem, dispute or question regarding your credit file disclosure, you need to contact the credit reporting company directly.

You, as a consumer, have the right to include a consumer statement on your credit file. The statement cannot exceed 100 words and will stay on your file for 10 years. If the information you are concerned with is past the statute of limitations, you can ask for the consumer statement to be removed.
