Identification Scanning
Driver's License Scan Protects Retailers.

To avoid costly penalties and violations resulting from age-sensitive product sales to minors or to detect fraudulent identification when accepting checks, Check Wise offers electronic ID scanners.

These devices scan information encoded on driver's licenses and instantly display the age of the license holder.  They also detect fraudulent or expired IDs and record evidence of license checks for future reference.

The system offers point-of-sale speed, with swiping mechanisms for licenses that have magnetic strips or bar codes, including those from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa.
