Mary Barris

Credit Reporting Supervisor – Client Service Representative

Mary Barris began her career in the collection industry in 1989 as a collection representative. She worked in this position for over three years, managing various types of collection accounts. She was promoted to Credit Reporting Supervisor in March 1993.

Mary is responsible for overseeing the daily requests for credit reports, fielding questions regarding credit reports, establishing new clients and maintaining existing credit reporting clientele. In July 2000, with the automation and streamlining of credit report processes, Mary assumed the added title of Client Service Representative. In this capacity, Mary serves Credit Bureau Data’s clients with enthusiasm, providing the utmost customer service.

In addition to her supervisory and client service responsibilities, Mary plays an active roll within the credit industry. She assists the La Crosse Police Department at their annual landlord seminars, providing information on conducting reference checks and obtaining credit reports on potential tenants. Mary speaks at local area high schools upon request, talking to seniors about the importance of establishing credit and maintaining good credit.
